I would like to upgrade the processor  for my pavilion desktop pc 570-p0x.

At the moment I have an i7-7700 CPU @ 360 GHz

Which is not able to run windows 11.

So which processor should I use for this upgrade?

Thanks in advance

Aikikan

Your PC' s motherboard cannot support an Intel 8th gen core processor which is the minimum Intel processor Microsoft has indicated is supported for W11.

I am running W11 24H2 just fine on my Dell desktop PC which also has an Intel i7-7700 processor, and I have been running W11 on it ever since it came out in 2021.

You can do this easy workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks so you can do an in-place update from W10>W11:
