Does your motherboard look like this:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04525350?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0001

That is the Kaili2 motherboard.

If your board is different, you will need to find the coprrect model number of the board (Note that #G5C74AV brings up nothing in a search, "HP WLAN802.11ac" and "DBMCARDBTWIDI" relates to the WIFI...and I think you mispelled DBMCARDBTWIDI). Please do not just grab every number you see...because there are a lot of them on a board. The correct model number is usually the largest one and is often in the middle of the board (like 'ms-7826 ver 2.0' on the Kaili2), but not always.

There are four sata connections on the Kaili2 motherboard (the white, lt blue, dk blue, and yellow ports on the bottom right of the board...if you look at the picture). As long as you have a free connection on the board and a free sata power connection from the power supply, any 2.5" sata drive will work fine. I did not see a m.2 port on the board, so no luck there. The spec page indicates at lkeast some of the sata ports are 6G for the speed. I could not find a manual to confirm that they all are 6G, but I think it is likely.

@MARVBERG,

Your trying to mix the issue.  The "G5C74AV" links to these 2 items on this page.

The antenna (wire) and the WI-FI card (actual card).

What does that actually have to do with an SSD hard drive, which is a SATA connector?
