My optical drive wont burn despite troubleshooting guide on HP website so I need a new one. My control panel says the drive is HP PLDS DVDRW DU8AESH PLDS DVDRW DU8AESH. Is there a substitute, or some other way to get one?

Ok so after a couple minutes of researching I successfully found the drive that will work and fit inside your computer. The link comes from eBay and is only $11.60 US dollars. And if you would like a 1year protection plan for $6.29 US dollars. The ones on Amazon are around $20 and above. This is shipped by SquareTrade I wouldn't recommend a non working one to you. This is ALSO the EXACT CD drive taken out of an HP Slimline 270-P026

Yes, that is all thank you. Now, do you know how to change the drive on your computer? If you don't then I can still remember the CD drive and you can take it to a computer shop to put in for you.
Give me some time to research please and thank you.
