Product: HP Pavilion 570-p0XX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The fan on our HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p0XX product # Z5M18AA#ABA is spinning sometimes but stops and then spins again and then stops.

 

I think it needs to be replaced.  What model fan do we need to replace our CPU fan?  I don't think the heatsink needs replaced.  Only the fan.  How can we order a new fan?

Hi:

 

The fan is sold as part of the heat sink and HP does not sell it.

This is the cheapest place I could find the assembly...

 

866177-001 - HP CPU Heatsink Fan for sale online | eBay

 

Other than going to a PC repair shop and seeing if they can match the right fan you would need, getting the heatsink/fan combo would probably be your best option.

 

Then just swap the bad fan with the good one.

 

No need to remove the heat sink because then you have to re-apply thermal paste and whatnot.
