I have found the same problem and it's solved here:
The exact same problem that I have but my HP desktop is a one year newer than his, so the question is if I do the same thing that sugested to him will be solved? if not would you mind please solve the problem for me. Because I believe there is no issue with my PC hardware and it should work fine.
Best regards & thank you

Hi Ken,
Look aon the top back of the graphics card for a switch. See the below image.
You should have received a pamphlet in the box describing the use of the switch (legacy mode or UEFI mode). If your PC has a version 8 HP BIOS then disable secure boot if set. If your PC is not at a version 8 BIOS level then the switch should be in legacy position. The pamphlet should describe the use of the switch.

Hi
I just received my MSI GTX 750 ti and I have installed it but it didn't work! three beeps then it turned off. I tried to enter in another boot such as Legacy and other but won't let me. Then returned the old GPU and installed the drivers of the GTX 750 ti for a hope to let it work, then replaced the GPU again and still dosen't work. The only thing left for me is to change the power supply from 300w to 400w as recommended however my desktop case is open and I can see the GTX 750 ti fans working..so not sure what should I do, please need your help. Should I replace the power supply or buy new MotherBoard? Please note tht I've returned the EVGA GTX 750 ti before and they charge me %20 of return fees, I really don't want to waste more money and really believe my computer should run it.
Thank you

Hi,
Please post the exact MSI 750 model that you are attempting to use.. Some MSI 750 models will not work in a PC that has a legacy BIOS.

Hi, I'm having the same problem but I can't find any switch on mine for legacy bios 😞
I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IDG3IDO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Am I missing something or am I just out of luck?

Hi
I had exactly the same problem, I bought first the EVGA GTX 750ti and didn't work. However, the one that will work for you is the MSI GTX 750 ti. So what I did, I just returned the EVGA (they charged me little bit for return) then I bought the MSI 750ti and now works like charme.
Good luck 🙂
