Advised by technician for ISP that AMD E1-1200 processor @1.40 GHz is NOT apprpriate for Windows 10 or for 1GB internet service. He suggested Intel pentium @ 3GHz, at least. System has 4GB DDR3 RAM. I know that generally, you can increase system performance by increasing the RAM. If I load the system with maximum RAM, will that be enough to make up for the lack of performance from the AMD E1-1200? I really do not want to purchase 2 new pc's to replace the 2 pavilion p2-1122's that we have now. Ideas/advice, PLEASE! Thanks. jade1945.

Hi,
Welcome to HP support forum.
1. The bad news is you can't change from AMD to Intel and you can't change CPU at all because
- AMD Fusion E1-1200 (Zacate) Dual Core processor soldered down on the motherboard
- TDP: 18W
- Socket type: Not applicable
Source: http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c03412349
2. You can add more RAM but the improvement WON'T be noticeable. You need better CPU.
Regards.
