p7-1030la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I have an old pc model p7-1030la. Your motherboard is Pegatron 2AC2 version 1.02, I already updated the bios to the latest version 7.16. I changed the processor to intel core i7-2600 (according to the hp page it is compatible) but it does not work. Send message: CPU not supported. Could anyone think that it could be failing? or it definitely won't work. So where could I base myself to try to find out which cpu are compatible. Thank you

Hi:

Did you install the right i7-2600 processor?

The only one supported in the Carmel motherboard your PC has, is the Core i7-2600S 65W.
