Lately, I've been getting Blue Screens of Death, and a lot of crashing tabs on firefox and chrome. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic, and got the following message (which is totally not helpful)
"Your computer has a memory problem - Memory problems can cause your computer to lose information or stop working. To identify and repair the problem, contact the computer manufacturer."
So my computer is out of warranty, which kind of figures. I have no idea what to do to fix this issue. Any suggestions/help?
16 GB Ram
Intel core i5-10400 CPU @ 2/9 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB graphics card
Windows 11 Home
Let me know if I can supply other info to help. Thanks!

Greetings @CaptainHeather
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Remove the HP factory memory modules. Visually inspect the memory slots. Clean the slots using a Dust Buster if required. Check the gold pins of each memory module for damage.
Now run the PC using one HP memory module installed in the slot closest to the CPU. Run Windows Memory Diagnostics using one stick of RAM. Check for stability.
The first memory module you test may be in trouble if the PC is unstable. The second memory module may be faulty if the PC is stable.
Try the same memory module, now installed in memory slot one, in the second memory slot. Check for stability.
Now try the second memory module by repeating the above steps.
You would have confirmed you have a faulty memory module if the PC is unstable using one of the memory modules.
Try both memory modules again If both memory modules, installed separately, work okay.
Sometimes the fix may be found by cleaning the memory slots and reseating both memory modules.
Let the Forum know how it goes.
