i have HP pavillion ryzen 5 3550H laptop with 8gb 2400Mhz ram. how much is the highest Mhz ram my laptop can work on if im upgrading my ram?

The Ryzen 5 3550 runs at 2133mhz and as discussed here

will not run any faster.

 

Putting in faster memory than 2400 may cause the system not to boot as IMHO the memory specs are hard coded into the bios.
