replace H8-1360t with a new mother board that will support Windows 11

Would like to get a mother board replacement to run windows 11, that would fit in my existing case , pavilion H8-1360t ? basically to reuse the existing case.

Hi:

IMHO, you would be throwing good money after bad.

For one thing you will be immediately out at least $100 because you would have to buy a W11 license.

It is highly unlikely that any motherboard that would support an Intel 8th gen core processor or newer would fit.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

Then when W11 23H2 comes out, you should be able to use the same process with the new ISO file that will be available in Mid-October.
