Would appreciate help in identifying HP part number for replacement of non-functioning CD ROM.

Welcome back to the HP Support Forums! I understand that you are looking for a part number for a replacement CD?DVD drive. I am happy to give you a hand with this.
Using the HP PartSurfer, and searching for your model number the following two options were listed under "Drive".
466803-001 4X Blu-ray Disc reader/Supermulti Slimslot DVD-ROM SATA optical drive - With attached bezel
466803-700 DVD Drive - 6X BD-Combo NonLS SS BE Bzl ECO
