Hello I'm trying to find a replacement part for my pavilion 590.

 

It is a cable that come from motherboard to the hdd and opictial drive. It supplies the power to both drives. 

On the motherboard the plug is labelled sata power. It is a 8 pin with 2 sata female power connector on other end.

I am not a HP employee.

 

What happened to the cable supplied by HP?

 

I checked HP Part Surfer (Link). Did not see this part available for purchase.

 

Input your PC product/serial number and region to check.

 

This cable and SATA power delivery method is proprietary. I don't know where you are going to get this part if HP does not sell it.
