I've heard of video card power supplies burning out, but I didn't think it would happen to mine, so I'm hoping HP will take care of this three month old desktop.

In warranty repair shouldn't be an issue.
Follow the instructions on the HP web document at the hyperlink below.
You will need to locate the serial number and product number of your Omen desktop PC.
