hi can somebody please tell me if you can use the serial port on the back of my hp to somehow connect via hdmi.... Is there such a cord available. serial port 1 end/HDMI other end maybe????

What are you trying to do ? No, no such cord nor adapter for HDMI to Serial because HDMI is for digital and Serial is for analog and serial ports are not popular now.
