I have a Hp all in one with a apulia hp 8446 motherboard, which shows i have a m.2 graphics card connector. As i am upgrading the cpu, ram, and adding a m.2 ssd i would like to upgrade the video capabilities as well.I am asking the community for help on what i can use in this slot to upgrade my system. Is there a specific video board i need to order or can i just run a m.2 gpu adapter to a outside gpu source?

There is not a specific card for the eGPU adapter. Basically an M.2 slot is a PCIe x4 slot. This video and this page offer more information. A bit involved and not an elegant way to add a GPU but it does work. Just remember it is not a x16 interface and will not give you the same performance as the x16 slot in a desktop.
