HP Compaq dc7700 Convertible Minitower PC

Hi, this is my second post on this since the 1st post is locked.. I have a HP Compaq dc7700 Convertible Minitower PC and want to know if a AMD 109C0905700  ,can my hp handle this card??   this one was in the dell Optiplex 790 I purchased used, I used the card on the board instead of the AMD since the monitor would not plug into it.. Thanks Guys..

If this is the card you are referring to, it should work with no problem...The actual model is either an AMD Radeon HD 5450 or an AMD Radeon HD 6350 graphics adapter.

It has a DMS-59 port, so all you need to do is to purchase a DMS-59 to VGA or DVD splitter and just use one of the ends to hook up to your monitor.  You will also need either a VGA or DVI cable.

 

The listing I posted shows the DMS-59 to VGA splitter cable.  I assume the one you have has the standard size mounting bracket you would use in the CMT.   The one shown in the listing would be for the SFF models.

 

I prefer the DMS-59 to DVI splitter so that I can get HD video instead of analog video.
