Hi what`s the latest bios version for HP 8000 Elite USDT? please note it`s the Ultra Slim form factor if that makes any difference.
System info says I have version Hewlett Packard 786G7 v01.02, 22/10/2009 installed and I assume there is a newer version available but what should I install?

I found the following bios 1.13 over at Drivers.eu
https://drivers.eu/PC/HP/Compaq%208000%20Elite%20Ultra-slim%20PC/BIOS
@Paul_Tikkanen found 8000 BIOS at HP site as mentioned here
but the links do not work.

Hi, @MrGrosvenor
Yes, there is a newer version you can install, but since you are running W10 on your 8000 Elite, you should use the F10 BIOS setup flash method, and not the method to update the BIOS with the Windows based flash.
The update can be found under the W8 driver section.
Version 01.14
Driver - HP Compaq 8000 Elite Ultra-slim PC | HP® Customer Support
So, here's how to update the BIOS using the F10 setup BIOS flash method:
1. Get a USB flash drive and format it with the FAT32 file system.
2. Download and run the above BIOS update exe file.
3. An info page will open. Read the instructions under the F10 Setup BIOS flash method.
4. At the bottom of that section, there is a link to click on labeled 'View Contents of DOS Flash Folder.
5. Click on that link and copy all of the files in that folder to your USB flash drive.
Just the files, not the folder.
6. Restart the PC. Press/tap the F10 key to get access to the BIOS setup utility.
7. Select the File tab>Flash system ROM command.
8. Select the USB flash drive.
9. The PC should 'see' the BIOS files on the flash drive.
10. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the BIOS.
