Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to change the behavior of the function keys.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
The keyboard you have purchased is a multimedia keyboard and there is no option to change the function keys behavior and it is by design.
I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!
Cheers!

nice, you deleted my previous reply)))
cool
honest forum
this is not a solution at all!
make new drivers, you have army of programmers!
multimedia keyboard?
what is mean?
should people feel flawed and uncomfortable because you don’t want to add a simple function? Elementary shortcut to switch this mode. Is it that hard?
tell programmers about it at last!
do you represent a whole corporation or a small person in the basement?
"and it is by design"
design by who? And for whom?
show me this incompetent mediocre man. Who could have come up with this?
"Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted."
what is mean?
you you talk about this to people on the forum almost 2 years!
nothing change at all! Empty words. Your corporation does not worry about theirs customers at all.
