Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I own a keyboard with a prejudice mosue hp hp wireless mouse mg0637t 
both connected to the same wireless transmitter Now the mouse I broke I wanted to know if I buy a wireless mouse will be compatible
with the keyboard transmitter?

Thanks for the reply, you are right, the receiver is programmed for a particular keyboard and mouse. It would not detect any other mouse.

I understand that you are using an HP wireless keyboard and mouse set and the mouse has stopped working. Happy to help. 

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

 

Recommend you try the steps suggested in this article

If the issue persists, you can buy a new mouse, however, the new mouse will have a different receiver and would not work with the receiver you have for the keyboard and mouse set.

So if I buy a different mouse hp will not be compatible with the receiver of the old keyboard + mouse hp?

Thanks for the reply, If you buy a new wireless mouse, for the mouse to work, you would need to connect the receiver meant for the mouse. 

The mouse would work, however, it would take an additional USB slot on the computer.
