That driver should have worked.

 

Now, you did go into the BIOS and enable legacy mode and disable secure boot, correct?

 

W7 is not compatible with secure boot.

OK, So I do not understand what happened .... I went looking thru the BIOS and found a item about PCI SERR# Generation.I changed it from ENABLE to DISABLE and rebooted ... The install now works without requesting a driver. When I went back into BIOS the default for SERR# is enable again. Not sure what is going on with this ... been trying to get windows to load for days now. All of a sudden its working ...arrgg ... Do you think the SERR change did something? What is SERR#?SERR.JPG

I googled the setting and it seems to have something to do with graphics.
