I am looking to upgrade to Windows 11, but the processor (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.41 GHz) is not compatible for the upgrade.  Where can I find/get a list of compatible CPUs for the HP 828A MoBo to see what my options are?

Exactly, you can't put an 8 th generation CPU compatible with windows 11, in a PC that uses 6 th generation processors are different chipset. That CPU change does not exist.
