I am experiencing BSOD issues with my 12th generation Intel core processor and have been looking at getting a new AIO desktop but have read allot of reviews about the 13th & 14th gen processors having BSOD issues as well. Does anyone have any update on whether or not this issue has been solved and implemented?

Hi @nestordog,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) issues you are referring to for Intel 13th and 14th generation Core processors were primarily related to specific hardware and software incompatibilities, as well as initial driver and BIOS issues.
Here is an overview of the current situation:
Intel 13th and 14th Gen BSOD Issues: When Intel releases a new generation of processors, there can sometimes be early adoption issues, including BSODs. These are often caused by immature BIOS, drivers, or operating system compatibility. Many of these issues are identified and resolved through BIOS updates, driver updates, and OS patches released by Intel, motherboard manufacturers, and Microsoft.
Current Status: Most major BSOD issues for Intel 13th and 14th generation processors have been addressed by the manufacturers through updates. If you are considering a new HP Pavilion All-in-One PC with one of these processors, ensure that all firmware (BIOS) and drivers are up to date.
Mitigating BSOD Issues:
- BIOS Updates: Ensure the BIOS is updated to the latest version. BIOS updates often include fixes for stability issues and compatibility improvements with new hardware.
- Driver Updates: Make sure all drivers, especially for the chipset, graphics, and network components, are the latest versions provided by HP.
- Windows Updates: Keep your Windows operating system up to date, as Microsoft regularly releases patches that can fix compatibility issues with new hardware.
Recommendations: Before purchasing a new PC, especially with newer hardware, check recent user reviews and forum discussions specific to the model you are interested in to see if others are experiencing similar issues. Also, verify the warranty and support policies to ensure you have options if you encounter issues.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
