Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Earlier I restarted my PC to apply some updates. Somehow the restart failed and now I am stuck with BIOS corruption every time I try to turn on my PC. I tried EVERYTHING that I could find to fix this, including using a USB Flash Drive with BIOS files on it, but nothing has worked. I get the same message over and over, no matter what key combinations I press or BIOS files I have on my USB (the newest files aren't working from the support site, so could only try an older version). "The BIOS recovery files cannot be found or the files are corrupted. Try to use a USB Flash Drive containing the files." That's basically what it tells me over and over. PLEASE someone help, I have no idea what to do, and the PC is not even old or worn down or anything.

Hi,

Sounds like a bad HP Support Assistant (HPSA) BIOS update. Avoid HPSA BIOS updates in the future.

You may have to contact HP Support (Link) if all BIOS recovery options at this site (Link) have failed.

The BIOS needs to be reprogrammed or the MB may need to be replaced.

Regards
