Everytime when I try to restart the PC,it gets stuck on the boot screen.I tried re-installing windows, managed to get into desktop mode but the problem still persisted.MY device takes an awful lot of time to respond to something. For eg : It took me over 6 hours just to re-install windows and when I got into the desktop mode,it took over 2 minutes just to open windows explorer
Later I tried giving the device another restart, but to my horror the pc got stuck on the boot screen again!!!!!! SO now I have to re-install windows all over again just to get into the desktop mode.
I recently tried to install a new graphics driver but I aborted the installation midway(back when my pc was working properly) and the problem began to occur ever since.
I tried contacting Microsoft support but they they suggested me to contact HP instead since HP would help me in configuring the bios settings as they are more familiar with it.Please provide me with the steps to configure my bios settings.

Creating another post to address the same issue you described in another thread that you created is not going to help resolve the issue.
@Paul_Tikkanen is giving you solid advice in your other thread.
I highly recommend that you follow the advice you were given.

I believe that it probably is.
To troubleshoot the issue, unplug the power cable and disconnect the hard disk cable.
With the cable disconnected plug in the power cable again and press the power button.
What do you see on the display?
If there is an error message which says that there is no OS or hard disk found, your issue is on the hard disk, not the BIOS.
Since your AIO desktop PC is from the 2014 model year and you live in a region of the world with high ambient temperature there may even be issues with your desktop's motherboard.

This isn't the same issue, since my previous issue was regarding the installation the installation of windows.Well now,I have managed to install windows successfully but the problem of the device taking an awful time to process and respond still persists. And since it takes an awful lot of time to respond,it get's stuck on the boot screen. So I need to make changes to the bios settings and configure it.As I had already mentioned I had aborted an installation of a graphics driver midway so I guess that's the cause to this issue

HOW DO I USE DIAGNOSTICS?
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine if the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures. HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows comes pre-installed on new HP computers, but if not on yours, download here:- http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp93001-93500/sp93457.exe
Tell us the results.

The diagnostic test points to a failing I hard disk. Run the disk diagnostic. The long test, not the short one.
