ENVY 750-267c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I've been having a problem with my PC with the screen going black and needing to turn off the power and restart the system entirely to do anything. The issue happens only when starting up/running games, and I have narrowed the issue to something witht the GPU/graphics card.  In searching through numerous forums, I found the same suggestion: Make sure the BIOS is up to date.  I have my pc model # ( ENVY 750-267c) and when running it through the forums here to find the drivers/BIOS updates I may need (my current Bios is AMI A0.11 with a date of 7/14/2016) I tried to download a BIOS update, but it came back as not compatible. Then I looked further into the details of said update and found the ROM Family/SSID line.

I can't seem to find mine and would like to know how to do so (preferrably without having to tear apart the tower to access the motherboard looking for a physically printed number).  I would gladly take information on what ROM Family I am part of, but knowing the process to determine/find this would be even more appreciated as well.

Thanks!

@JarheadTech, welcome to the forum.

The BIOS in your motherboard is SSID: 2B52.  Here is the only BIOS update that is available for your motherboard:

If you follow the instructions it should work.
