BIOS Update Question

Iwant to update the BIOS on my Pavilion 580-023w, the current version is F.11 REV.A . The latest is F.25 Rev.A .

I have installed an HP 120GB SSD drive already. Will I have to change anything in the BIOS after the update? I can't remember whether I did any changes in the BIOS when I installed the SSD.

Do you get any error message while updating the Bios?

Updating the BIOS, also known as "flashing the BIOS," replaces the BIOS firmware. When completed successfully, a BIOS update can fix or enhance aspects of a computer's performance, or provide support for newly installed hardware. However, if an incorrect update is installed or if the update process is interrupted, the motherboard can be permanently damaged, leaving the computer unable to boot. I went and downloaded the HP support assistant software and upgraded everything form there. Everything is working fine.
