Hi Guys.

I have a clients

- HP PAVILION 24 All-in-one system

- Model No 24-xa0181na

- Product ID - 4Zj74EA#ABU

When turned on its coming up with a currupt bios error and then on next screen after many beeps it gives me a link at HP site to a document .. this link doesnt work anymore.

I have searched the HP support site for this system/model number but it doesnt exist. SO i am wondering can anyone here direct me to the appropriate drivers page, particularly the bios drivers. The message on screen asks me to download same from HP site and copy to USB Stick

The link it supplies no longer exists:

I think I found the BIOS Driver for this model here:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06962299

Scroll down to - Closest is "HP Pavilion All-in-One 24-xa0xxx" - under Home Desktop PCs section.

I installed this to a USB just to test if system sees the USB drive, plugged it into USB port on the Pavilion, turned it on .. same errors come up. It doesnt seem to recognise the USB ports, doesnt see the usb stick. I tried plugging in a USB keyboard, that doesnt work either, no lights.

So now i am assuming my only way forward is a hard bios reset via opening the system and temp remove the cmos battery for 30 secs or so?

Hi @aidanodr

I am guessing you have the AMD Centrix MB. Also guessing you downloaded sp114271 at this HP site.

Try creating a USB BIOS recovery drive on a different PC using sp145817.

Let the Forum know if you can fix the BIOS using sp145817.

I could not use sp114271 to get the option to create a USB BIOS recovery drive on a different PC. But I could use sp145817 to give me an option to create a USB BIOS recovery drive on a different PC.

Regards
