Product : HP Laptop 14s-dq2xxx
11th Gen i3 processor
My PC's battery is draining very fast and its only been 2 years since I am using it . Battery runs out from 100 to 0 percent in just less than an hour at min brightness and battery saving settings also there are some charging related issues , I plug it on to charge when battery reaches around 15% then it shuts down automatically and also gets full charge in just 5min but when I think of using it then it drains battery at a drastic rate every min battery runs out so please reach me out through mail or reply me with some suggestions that what should I do next in order to makes its performance and battery better.

Hi @S311,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand that your HP Laptop 14s-dq2xxx with an 11th Gen Intel i3 processor is experiencing severe battery issues—rapid drainage, false full charge, and sudden shutdowns. I know how important reliable battery performance is, and I’ll help guide you through the next steps.
1. Run HP Battery Check
HP provides a built-in tool to test your battery health:
- Download and install HP Support Assistant:
🔗 HP Support Assistant - Open the app and go to Battery Check
- It will give you a battery status and a Failure ID if the battery is faulty

I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
