I've downloaded:

 

HP Business Desktop System BIOS (HP ProDesk 400 G1 DM ROM Family 8076)02.28 Rev.A 9.0 MB 18. Okt. 2019

 

Start and create on USB. Restart Bios Flash System Bios,

USB, File BIL_0228.bin. Message: Incompatible ROM Image.

From UEFI Diagnostic ERROR failed

In the Bios System Information: BIOS Revision BIL v80.19 from 07/11/2016

Same problem here for updating the BIOS to a newer version.

Hope someone could help.

I've ask the Support for this Problem. First answer: I should try to update an older bios version. But the same problem.

The issue here is that the bios Version is 80., But the original HP began with 02.02 Rev.A from Feb 13 2015.

And on the HP history site from NOV 8 2016 is Rev 02.20.Rev.A. I've tested all. I mean that for this PC someone use a Special BIOS
