I need help I unplugged my desktop and moved it to a different room when I plugged it back in to start up the screen went blue when to recovery try to reboot it turned it off restart it went to a blue screen I cannot get anything I turned it off and restarted and it keeps going to a blue screen I would like information it's about four years old it's out of warranty but I would like to get it rebooted so I can get my files off would appreciate some information or advice thank you

Welcome back to the Forum.

 

Please upload the blue screen image you see or describe its contents.

 

The type of blue screen you get may assist to figure out what has happened.

 

You could try to back up data by removing the system drive if it is failing. Connect this drive to a different PC internally or use a M.2 PCIe NVME to USB 3.0 external adapter.

 

Your PC should have an M.2 PCIe NVME (system drive) and a 7200 RPM SATA HDD (data or backup).
