Welcome to the HP Forum.
It's tough to diagnose a sluggish PC in a Forum. Too many variables.
Well, your PC's hardware may have seen better days. I don't know?
You have not provided any of your PC's component specs (CPU, RAM, graphics card, storage devices). I can't comment on this aspect without knowing what you have.
I've got to ask some questions before I can make any suggestions.
1. How old is the PC?
2. When did this problem start?
3. What operating system are you using? Did you upgrade to W11?
4. Have you ever done a clean OS installation or a HP Cloud Recovery?
5. How many processes do you see in Task Manager?
6. How many startup items do you see in Task Manager?
7. Do you periodically run Disk Cleanup and Storage Sense?
8. Please describe all steps you have taken to fix this problem?
Please provide any additional observations about the PC's behavior you may be privy to which would help to diagnose the PC's sluggishness.
