Hi @KSibly,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a0014 is asking for a BitLocker recovery key after a reboot—even though you never set it up manually—this can happen due to:
- A change in hardware configuration
- Or a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) reset
Even if you didn’t enable BitLocker yourself, Windows 11 Home can automatically enable device encryption if your PC supports it.
1. Check Your Microsoft Account
- Go to: HP PCs - Using BitLocker and finding the recovery key (Windows 11, 10) | HP® Support
- Sign in with the Microsoft account you used on this PC.
- Look for a recovery key associated with your device name.
2. Check Other Accounts
- If the PC was set up by someone else (family, IT, etc.), check their Microsoft account for the key.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
