I have a Fujitsu Scanner which scans all my correspondence. However since I have had Windows 10 installed on my Compaq Desktop, I have been unable to make it work.
Therefore I have wiped my Hard Disk & re-installed Windows 7.
I Re-installed the drivers from a DriverMax backup file, now the scanner is working fine, but some of the other drivers must have been corrupted & won't install.
I get a message saying hardware acceleration is disabled or not supported by the video card and to install the latest video card driver.
A diagnstic test says WD SES Device & USB Device drivers are missing.
When I go onto the HP site & look up the CQ1040Uk model I am told there are NO drivers available, so I am trapped.
Does anyone know how to find & download the correct drivers please?

Hi:
Here is the link to the W7 driver page for your PC.
There are no standalone USB drivers for the chipset your PC has, so the only suggestion I can offer, would be to try the AMD chipset driver directly from AMD.
You want the first file listed on the webpage. Install and restart the PC.

If for some reason you are having difficulty viewing the support page for your PC, here is the direct link to the graphics driver...
This package provides the original driver for the AMD Radeon HD graphics solutions in supported models that are running a supported operating system.

Many thanks for your guidance on this problem.
As it happened, I had run out of patience & 'nuked' the machine taking it back to the factory settings. So I have working drivers for Win 7, the down side being that I now have to update Win 7, restructure the HD putting back in the partitions that I lost, then re-install the programs & finally copy back all the data into the files.
However, thanks to you I have downloaded the drivers, so the next time I have this problem, I will be able to re-install Win 7 without losing everthing else!
All the best,
