Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2104ng with Windows 11 Home.
The current installed version is 21H2.
Windows Update keeps failing on updating to version 23H2. The update gets downloaded and starts the installation. Then the computer reboots automatically and proceeds with the update.
After a while I get the message that something went wrong and the update is rolledback.
In the windows update history there is the error: 0xc1900101.
How can I fix the issue?
If it is relevant, I use a local windows account not connected to a microsoft online account.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer other than clean installing W11 22H3 and reinstalling your PC's drivers and your programs and files would be to click on the blue W11 installation assistant button (1st option) at the link below:

That's unfortunate.
One other thing you may want to try:
Make the bootable W11 23H2 installation flash drive with the Media creation tool (2nd option on that link I posted yesterday).
After the media has been created, open the flash drive in 'This PC.
Double click on the setup application to begin the in-place upgrade.
If that also fails, you may want to post the error code and problem on the Microsoft Windows forum or use the USB flash drive you created to clean install W11 if it is not too much trouble to reinstall your programs and files.
