Hi @Morad2k1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

It sounds like your Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-2000i is encountering an issue during the factory reset process, leading to a black screen after the restart. This can happen due to several reasons, such as corrupted system files, display driver issues, or problems with the recovery partition.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Power Cycle the PC

  • Turn off the PC completely.
  • Unplug the power cable and any connected peripherals (keyboard, mouse, etc.).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds.
  • Plug the power cable back in, reconnect the peripherals, and turn on the PC.

2. Access the BIOS

  • Restart your PC and immediately start pressing the Esc or F10 key repeatedly to access the BIOS.
  • Check if the BIOS screen appears. If it does, it indicates the hardware and display are working correctly.

3. Attempt Safe Mode

  • Turn off the PC, then turn it on and immediately start pressing F8 or Shift + F8 repeatedly.
  • If you can access the Advanced Boot Options menu, select "Safe Mode."
  • If Safe Mode starts correctly, the problem might be related to a driver or software conflict.

4. Try Recovery Environment

  • Restart the PC and press F11 repeatedly to enter the recovery environment.
  • If you reach the recovery environment, try "Troubleshoot" > "Reset this PC" > "Remove everything" again.
  • Alternatively, select "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair" to let Windows try to fix the startup issues automatically.

5. Use a Windows 11 Installation Media

  • If the above steps don’t work, you can create a Windows 11 installation USB drive using another computer:
    • Download the Windows 11 Installation Media from Microsoft.
    • Insert the USB drive into the PC, restart, and press Esc or F9 to select the boot device.
    • Boot from the USB drive and choose "Repair your computer" > "Troubleshoot" > "Reset this PC."

If none of the software solutions work, the issue could be related to hardware. Check connections to the monitor, ensure the graphics card is seated properly, and verify that all cables are securely connected.

If you're still facing issues after trying these steps, there could be a deeper hardware fault or a significant problem with the recovery partition. In that case, reaching out to HP support or visiting an authorized service center would be the best course of action.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
