Z2 SFF G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Was given a Z2 SFF G4 to use as a workstation, but the software used by the office is too old to run on Windows 10. The person who acquired the Z2 SFF G4 for me assured me that it had downgrade rights and could be downgraded without issue. Looking around before proceeding, I notice a lack of drivers and support articles for Windows 7 which leads me to believe that it is not possible. Is this in fact the case?

Hi:

If this is the model you have...you can't run W7 on it.  You probably won't even get W7 to install.

And if by chance you did get W7 to install, there would be only a few hardware items that would have W7 drivers, and you'd have to figure out where to get them.

Was reasonably certain that was the case.

Thank you.

You're very welcome.

If you have to run W7, you will need a PC with the older Intel Skylake chipset (6th gen core processor).
