that cpu is not supported
You can put wiin11 on your system using several different procedures
https://www.xda-developers.com/install-windows-11-unsupported-pc/
I just tried method 3 on an old Dell 790 with i5-2400 and it worked fine. I simply did the install.esd switch and did not mess with the mbr or making bios changes but I may have lucked out.

Hi
is your TPM version 1.2 or 2 if 1.2 you cannot upgrade, you can upgrade TPM to version 2 which I did on my pc so check HP website for TPM upgrade. you can also download the windows 11 iso file and use Rufus 3.18 to create bootable USB drive .
when creating the drive, under image option click on dropdown menu and select no tpm and no secure boot, create the bootable usb drive and you should be able to install fresh install of windows 11. Version 3.20 of Rufus I believe will remove all the information which will allow you to install Windows 11 also, but I have not tried it yet

hi
Is your issue resolved. as I mentioned in my reply to you, download Rufus 3.20 create a bootable USB Drive and this will remove all restrictions and allow you to install Windows 11, or do you want original Windows 10. if you want original Windows ten download the Windows 10 ISO file from Microsoft site using the media creation tool, when creating the media save as an ISO file on PC and use Rufus to create a bootable USB flash drive and do a fresh install of Windows 10

Think carefully, before taking the risk, see the experiences of other users, see if it can be interesting, or if you can wait to have a new computer later, 100% compatible!
Windows 10 remains one of the best systems, and can be used for quite a while.
I have performed the installation with a compatible computer ..
And I can not take full advantage of the more or less interesting features, because you have to have a certain material
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications
So far, so there is nothing extraordinary about this system
So if the computer is not compatible, you have little interest in using it ..
In some cases, we can have more problem than something else (performance etc), it is better to wait until most of the bugs are solved.
And even better to have a 100% compatible computer, in order to be able to take advantage of the available features
Now, if you want to give it a try, first plan to use specialized software, and make a ghost copy of your installation.
You will not be able to install a compatible processor
you would have to force install windows 11
there are several tutorials on the net, it's up to you

Hi
your quite right @promethee I should have mentioned the risks involved. I personally installed Windows 11 with no problems and also receive updates, but again there are risks which I apologise for not mentioning, So apologies to everyone concerned.
