Product: Compaq Presario SR5109UK Desktop PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista

Hi,

I have a Compaq Presario SR5109UK Desktop PC which I have had for 4 years, the warranty has expired in 14th February 2014. I don't have the recovery tools to do a Compaq Recovery. Where can I download the tools and how do I reinstall from the original factory image.

Sorry, but HP stopped providing Vista-era recovery tools and media some years back -- and the other online recovery tool providers did the same thing.

 

Don't know of anywhere that still carries Vista-era media.

Thank you for your reply. I've also tried my HP System Recovery USB stick created on my Windows 10 laptop but it hangs on the Windows Logo and no spinning dots. What else can you offer? Do you know anyone with a Compaq Presario SR9105UK Desktop PC? Please let me know soon.
