I had a problem with the drivers in the laptop so I sent it back to the company and had it fixed. When I got it back it worked for a few weeks, then one day it wouldn’t turn on. It’s completely black screen at all times, but the lights on the sides will light up if it is plugged into the charger. It’s been like this for months.

The problem is aggravated by your waiting so long to come here about it.

The HP warranty is only good for 12 months, so if you file a notice during that time, HP will attempt to fix it without charge.

But if you wait and do nothing until that time period has passed, the total costs of any fix or repair are then on you.

Is this still under the one-year warranty?
