HP ENVY Curved All-in-One - 34-a051
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I started receiving the Windows Memory Diagnostic message "Your computer has a memory problem" shortly after the upgrade to Windows 10 version 21H2, though I didn't make the association at first. So I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic, and at first, it didn't indicate any issues. That was Jan. 12.

Ten days later, my all-in-one desktop periodically reboots with memory-related messages, as many as three times in a row. At this point, the Windows Memory Diagnostic will not run - isn't that helpful?

My PC will run for a few hours between reboots, but this isn't good. What can I do?

Hello
the procedure can be complicated with this type of computer
it is mentioned here 12 gb
You should have two memory modules
either you open and try with one module, then the other
in general the problem is not with both at the same time, if it is indeed a RAM problem

I can't find the manual
this video is for another series, see if it helps
if not, tell me, and I'll look again

if you don't feel capable, go to a professional, it's fragile

Thanks, given how delicate the repair sounds, I'll have to take this to a pro. I appreciate the advice very much!

A friend of mine is helping me follow the instructions in the video. We replaced the Ram that was causing the problem. My computer no longer crashes; however, I still receive the same message saying, "your computer has a memory problem." I can dismiss the message and continue, but who needs this? The error pops up every couple of hours. Every diagnostic I run checks out fine. Any suggestions?

What is the error message exactly, how does it appear when?
What exactly did you use and replace?

We replaced one of the two main memory modules, and initially, I continued to receive the message:

"Windows Memory Diagnostic, Your computer has a memory problem.

Memory problems can cause you to lose information or stop working. To identify, and repair the problem, contact the manufacturer."

That popped up even after we replaced the main memory. The diagnostics all showed no errors, yet the message persisted in popping up until we rebooted several times.

Thanks very much! We have success!

If it starts again, it will be necessary to remove the other, to see!

Thanks again for the advice, but I certainly hope it doesn't. This high-end computer is barely 18 months out of the box. I can't believe the memory failed this soon—what a pain.
