Hi @Ladyjess,
Sorry to hear this. It looks like your PC updated from W10 to W11 since I don't see any W11drivers or software at this HP Support site (Link). Select "Choose a different operating system". Driver updates are only offered for various versions of W10.
A Microsoft update should not wipe user data. You might be able to find your user stuff. The latest version of HP Support Assistant can be downloaded at this (Link).
Open File Explorer. Expand the "C" drive. Look for "Windows Old". User data would be in the "Users" folder under your sign in name. The Go back option within Settings, Windows Update, Advanced options, Recovery, Recovery Options may be gone if the Windows Old folder in File Explorer has been purged.
I have no idea how this happened if your PC was off or disconnected from the LAN. Plus the W11 Update should be optional.
You may have to rebuild W10 if you cannot do a system restore and you have not created any W10 image backups. You have probably lost data if you don't have data backup on external media.
You can use the HP Cloud Recovery option (Link) to go back to W10 but again, the data may be gone.
Data recovery in this situation may be possible but it will be expensive.
Regards
