HP Pavilion Power Desktop - 580-023w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer will not let me enter the start up menu and allow me to access my system bios.  When I press escape during start up or try to access bios using any other means, my computer just trys to reboot and my monitor screen stays black almost like its not receiving a signal.  The computer will stay in this state until I push the power button on the desk top and power it off and then back on.  It loads into windows fine.  It will just not let me enter the system bios no matter which method I try.

On boot-up, try pressing F10 (press and hold for two {2} seconds).

Cheers.

@mFrush83

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  • Step 1: Remove discs and devices
  • Step 2: Perform a hard reset
  • Step 3: Run hardware diagnostic tests
  • Step 4: Refresh or reset your PC. Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04718479 to complete the troubleshooting steps. By end of the article, you will be able to fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “
