Hello everyone! I have a 10 year old dx7500 microtower. I am not a crazy gamer but I like to play once in a while. So I try to keep my pc updated. I almost changed everything except the mainboard and processor. Recently I have 8gb ddr2 RAM + ATI RADEON R7 2GB (256 Bit) Video Card + 600W Power supply+ Samsung SSD 320 GB+ Windows 10 (64 Bit). These are the upgrades I have made during the past years. My question is IS THERE ANYTHING LEFT I CAN DO? I mean can I put ddr3 RAM's on this main board? Can I upgrade my video card with even a better one? Becasue I cannot play the latest games anymore. If someone could give any opinion I would appreciate it. Thank you!

To answer your questions ...
1) System Memory -- different kinds of memory (i.e., DDR2, DDR3, DDR4) may have the same number of pins but they have slots in the memory sticks that prevent you from forcing DDR3 memory into a DDR2 slot. So, you can not change the type of memory you already have to something else.
2) Video card -- while adding a more powerful card CAN improve gaming performance, with more modern games, the processor power and number of cores also play a major role in performance. So, while it won't hurt to upgrade the card, it probably won't help much, either. If you can buy one where you can easily get a full refund, it's worth trying to see if the performance gain is worth what you spent on the card.
