When I try to open the defrag program I get the following message "Disk defragmenter is currently using customized settings created by another program, before you can modify the schedule, you must remove the customized settings" and there is a button that says 'Remove settings" and when I click on the button the window goes away and nothing happens, I am at a loss as I do not know how to determine what program has created the settings to be removed, Can anyone help??

In Windows 7:
- Click on the Windows button (bottom-left)
- Select Control Panel
- Select Programs and Features
- View the list of Installed Programs
- Click the Date Installed column-heading, to sort the rows of the list, from newest to oldest
- One of those programs must have a "disk-defragmenter" as one of its features
This implies that this "other" program is already performing scheduled defragmenting, which implies that you don't need to "de-de-fragment" via the Windows tool.
