I ran the HP support app on my pavilion-570 running W10 and got system messages saying there was an incompatibility issue. I used the update link in the app to download and install an update (not the latest but a windows 10 legacy version). All seemed well and I got a prompt to restart the computer. I didn't do so immediately as I had other work to do on the computer. When I went to restart it it appeared to close down OK but the restart only got as far as the HP logo and then stopped. I have completely powered it down and tried a restart a couple of times but it still gets to the same point - I don't even get as far as the options to look at the BIOS. Where do I go next?
Any advice most gratefully received!
UPDATE - now resolved I think - I suspect a USB problem was causing a POST error.
