Product: HP 110 Desktop PC Series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hard Disk crashed. Went to install new hard drive, but I need the recovery OS to get system up and running, but I cannot find on HP website where to download recovery OS and put it into a bootable media. Can someone point me where to locate and download Windows 10 Home recovery software.

What is the full model number or product number of your PC?

The product specs indicate the PC originally came with W8.1 64 bit from HP.

HP never offered W8.1 recovery media as a downloadable item.

 

If you want the original HP OS, you would have to buy recovery media from HP and then upgrade back to W8.1

You can reinstall W10 for free by making bootable installation media with the Media creation tool at the link below.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

During the part of the installation where you are asked to enter a product key, select the 'I don't have a product key' option.

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
