Hello, everyone, having trouble connecting my second monitor to my first monitor. I  purchase a display port  to hdmi and a  dvi  to hdmi adapter. Plugged in to computer and monitor will not display anything on the screen. the screen is still black. I am not sure what the problem may be. can someone help please. thanks! both monitors are dells. my computer is hp pavilion.

No, you can't use HDMI. HDMI does not support daisy chain connection. You have to use native Display Port to Display Port to be able to daisy chain to connect 2 monitors.
