Hi:

You need this driver for that device:

Intel(R) AMT LMS_SOL for AMT 8.xx

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp67001-67500/sp67118.exe

Hi Paul,

thanks for your quick replay, I installed the driver and restarted the system, but the problem persists...

You're very welcome.

Try manually installing the driver as follows...

Go to the device manager.  Click on the AMT-SOL device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp67118.

Make sure that the include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted.

Hi Paul,

that`s crazy.

After installation, following your instructions, the warning sign on device manager

disappears for many seconds, and then came again.

Anyway, it`s so important a such warning? The system is working well...

Ceman

Hi, Ceman:

You are so right.  That is crazy.

I have never heard of that happening before.

I am not ready to give up on this yet.

The driver I gave you previously was for W8.1 from your PC's support page.

I have given that driver to many forum members in the past, and it worked with no problem.

I found this newer W10 driver that also has support for the hardware ID you posted.

 Intel Management Engine Software

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74001-74500/sp74499.exe

Try both the auto and manual install method.

If it doesn't work, the driver is not important unless you are using the PC in a corporate environment where the IT department pushes software and updates to the PC from a server on the corporate network.

Hi Paul,

the new driver didn't help.

FYI, the problem appeared 2 weeks ago, after reinstallation of W10 due to a HDD problem...

Anyway, the system is running well and I use it at home, so I'm not worried.

Thanks again for your help and support!
