Every time I turn on the computer I receive the dreaded blue screen. This blue screen is telling me I have a Smart Drive Error (301).
I ran the diagnostics and my processor checked out fine and passed by my Hard Drive SMART check has failed.
I am under the assumption that I will probably have to purchase a new drive for this Envy 23 and install it. Any sort of guidance I would appreciate. This

@Stewabacca86 I'm afraid the hard drive on your device has failed and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
