Trying to do some computer diagnostics. Computer said I needed to update the diagnostic app. I did. Now when I go to the app's main window, click on click the Computer Tests tab, a spinning wheel says Initalizing Diagnostics but never goes to the next screen. It just keeps spinnning. Any ideas?

It sounds like the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool is stuck while initializing. Here’s what you can try:
Restart Your PC
- A simple restart can clear temporary glitches.
Run the Diagnostics in Safe Mode
- Boot into Safe Mode and try launching the tool again.
- To enter Safe Mode:
- Hold Shift while clicking Restart in the Start menu.
- Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- Choose Enable Safe Mode.
Run the Standalone HP Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI Mode)
- Turn off your PC.
- Turn it back on and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press F2 to launch HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
- Run Extensive System Test from here instead.
Reinstall the HP Hardware Diagnostics App
- Uninstall HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows from Control Panel > Programs.
- Download the latest version from the HP Support Website.
- Reinstall it and check if it works.
